Farewell Call on the Prime Minister of Lebanon
Ambassador Dato’ Azri Mat Yacob paid a Farewell Call on His Excellency Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of Lebanon, at the Grand Serail in Beirut on 24 September 2025. The meeting highlighted the warm friendship and trust that continue to shape Malaysia–Lebanon relations, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation.
The discussion also highlighted Malaysia’s support for Lebanon through MALBATT and MTCP. Both sides agreed on the way forward, focusing on enhancing trade, investment, and closer collaboration between ministries, agencies, and the private sector. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to deepen ties and expand opportunities for partnership in the years ahead.
