FAREWELL VISIT TO MALAYSIAN BATTALION (MALBATT 850-1)
On Thursday, 18 June 2014 His Excellency Ambassador ILANGO KARUPPANNAN paid a farewell visit to the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT 850-1) at the Ma’rakah camp, south Lebanon. The farewell was organized by MALBATT 850-1 and hosted by Colonel Arman Rumaizi in honor of the Ambassador who will be completing his tour of duty in Lebanon. In his remarks, the Ambassador commended MALBATT troops for their noble contributions in maintaining peace and stability in southern Lebanon.
