LUNCHEON WITH DATIN EDELGARD JUNDI, SPOUSE OF LATE DATUK OMAR JUNDI, FORMER HONORARY CONSUL GENERAL OF MALAYSIA TO THE LEBANESE REPUBLIC
On 20 August 2021, HE Ambassador Azri Mat Yacob had a luncheon with Datin Edelgard Jundi, spouse of late Datuk Omar Jundi, former Honorary Consul General of Malaysia to the Lebanese Republic. Datin Edelgard shared memories of her late husband’s journey in promoting ties between Malaysia and Lebanon since his appointment in 1965. The late Datuk Omar Jundi was the longest serving Honorary Consul General of Malaysia.
