Tripoli: Ambassador Azri Engages with the Mufti of Tripoli and Northern Lebanon
On 25 June 2024, Ambassador Azri held an engagement session with Sheikh Mohammad M.T. Imam, Mufti of Tripoli and Northern Lebanon, to pay a courtesy call in conjunction with his visit to Tripoli.
Both sides exchanged views on current economic and socio-political situation, emphasising the need for peaceful resolutions and continued dialogue.
Briefing the mufti on the Embassy’s effort to further boast bilateral economic relations, the Ambassador affirmed its commitment to boosting bilateral trade in Lebanon, collaborating closely with Matrade Jeddah . This proactive approach underscores Malaysia's role in promoting regional stability and economic growth.
