Presentation of United Nations Medals to Malaysian Soldiers, 23 June 2012
Malaysian Ambassador to Lebanon His Excellency Mr. Ilango Karuppannan presented United Nations medals to Malaysian soldiers serving in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon on 23 June 2012 during a medal parade ceremony at the Malaysian camp in Kawkaba. A total of 360 soldiers received medals for their service as peacekeepers. The Commander of Sector East Brig. Gen. Julio Herrero Isla and the Governor of Hasbayya, Mr. Walid Al-Ghafer also gave away medals to our soldiers.
