The Filming of Spice Routes Program in MALBATT Camp, 30 May 2012
On Wednesday 30 May 2012, H.E. Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan visited MALBATT Camp in Tibnin for a filming of Spice Routes program by TV3. The event was organized by MALBATT and attended by several Malaysians residing in Lebanon as well as other local residents.
The main objective of the event was to portray a collective effort (gotong royong) in preparing several Malaysian cuisines by using spices which were sponsored by Adabi. MALBATT camp was chosen by TV3 as the final venue of the program to boost morale and motivation of our peacekeepers.
In his short remarks, H.E. Ambassador expressed hope that TV3 and perhaps other media outlets in Malaysia would continue promoting Lebanon and could portray other aspect of Malaysian involvement in Lebanon in the future.
