HARDSHIP PROTEST : SECURITY ALERT IN NIGERIA

 

A nationwide continuous protest is planned in Nigeria from 1 August 2024, driven by grievances over economic hardships and government policies. All Malaysians in Nigeria are advised to avoid traveling to and within protest-prone areas. Besides keeping emergency supplies, including food, water and medical kits, it is also important to be more attentive by:

1. Monitoring local media for updates;
2. Avoid crowds;
3. Avoid demonstrations; and
4. Carry proper identification.
