Her Excellency Mdm. Gloria Corina Anak Peter Tiwet took up post as High Commissioner of Malaysia to the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 4 April 2018. Her Excellency presented Letter of Credence to H.E. Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 12 September 2018.
Her Excellency joined the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service on 16 December 1996. As a career diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia, Her Excellency has been posted to various Malaysia’s missions, at Chile, Argentina, and Sweden. She also held various posts at the Ministry, including in the Department of Communications and Public Diplomacy, Multilateral Economic and Environment Division, Policy Planning Department, Development Division, Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations, Logistics Secretariat for ASEAN 2015 and Sarawak Regional Office, a branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia.
Her Excellency is married to Mr. Nithiyanathan Kumarasamy, a Malaysian from Penang, Malaysia.
