A COURTESY CALL BY CHAIRMAN/CEO OF GLOBAL TRADE AND EXPO CENTER PAKISTAN
On Thursday, 11 July 2024, Mr. Mohd Syafik, Counsellor of the High Commission received a courtesy call by Mr. Mazhar Hussain Thathal, Chairman/CEO of Global Trade and Expo Center.
The meeting aimed to enhance trade and investment opportunities between Malaysia and Pakistan. The chairman and his team briefed the Counsellor that their company is acting as a service provider for exporting leather, halal meat, surgical equipment, tourism, and textiles. Mr. Mazhar Hussain especially mentioned about the good quality sports goods of Sialkot, which could be exported to Malaysia at cheaper rates.
In his response, Mr. Syafik thanked the delegation for visiting the High Commission and expressed his desire for closer cooperation between the two countries for mutual benefit.
