Deputy Head of Mission Attends "Explore & Invest in Pakistan Conference (KP Chapter) 2025"
On 12 July 2025, Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, Deputy Head of Mission was invited as a Guest of Honour at the Explore & Invest in Pakistan Conference (KP Chapter) 2025, in Peshawar. The event was organised by Brain Designer and the Global Trade & Tourism Centre, with the objective of promoting investment and trade opportunities in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
His Excellency Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
During the conference, Mr. Syafik delivered a keynote address focusing on the enhancement of bilateral trade and investment between Malaysia and Pakistan. In his remarks, Mr. Syafik highlighted Malaysia’s strategic position in the ASEAN region and its business-friendly environment, encouraging Pakistani entrepreneurs and investors to consider Malaysia as a gateway to Southeast Asian markets.
Mr. Syafik also took the opportunity to share his personal experiences of living in Pakistan. He praised the country's rich culture, hospitality, and economic potential, describing Pakistan as a “wonderful country that more Malaysians should explore.”
The conference served as a platform to strengthen economic linkages and foster mutual understanding between Malaysian and Pakistani stakeholders, further reinforcing the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
