On 30 July 2026, His Excellency Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and To’ Puan Amelia Amani Lee Abdullah hosted a luncheon at Rumah Malaysia. The occasion was held in honour of Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus bin Hasbullah and Mr. Muhammad Zulasri bin Rosdi, who had completed their respective tenures in Pakistan, as well as to welcome Mr. Mohamad Alif Syafiq bin Mohd Faudzi and Mr. Mohamad Parih bin Wahab to the High Commission.
The luncheon was attended by the Home-Based Staff of the High Commission and their families, together with representatives from various chambers of commerce. The gathering provided a warm and informal setting for the outgoing and newly arrived officers to interact with members of the Mission and its local partners.
In his remarks, the High Commissioner expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus and Mr. Muhammad Zulasri for their dedication, valuable contributions and commitment throughout their service at the High Commission. He also warmly welcomed Mr. Mohamad Alif Syafiq and Mr. Mohamad Parih and expressed confidence in their ability to discharge their respective responsibilities effectively.
The luncheon also provided an opportunity for the newly arrived officers to engage with representatives of the chambers of commerce. The event concluded in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
