On 22 June 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Dato' Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, visited the Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad to sign the Book of Condolence following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati of the Kingdom of Thailand.
On behalf of the Government and people of Malaysia, the High Commissioner conveyed his deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the Government and the people of Thailand during this period of mourning.
He expressed Malaysia's solidarity with Thailand and extended heartfelt sympathies over the loss of a respected member of the Thai Royal Family.
