Farewell Dinner "Jasamu Dikenang" and Juara Karaoke Competition 2010
In the breeze weather, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi with the cooperation of Malaysia Karachi Club (MKC) successfully organised a Farewell Dinner "Jasamu Dikenang" to bid farewell Mr. Isa Mansor, Regional Manager of Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), Pakistan and Mrs. Noor Aswana Mustafa, Manager of IJM Construction Pakistan Pvt. Ltd on Sunday, 7th February 2010. The event held at the compound of the Chancery was attended by 70 Malaysians residing in Karachi and enjoyed a buffet of Pakistani cuisines together with Malaysian delicacies brought by fellows Malaysians. Taking advantage of the event, a Juara Karaoke Competition was held and participated by around 15 Malaysian adults and children. The champion for children category was Ms. Aisyah Sara Mohd. Khalid, daughter of the Consul General, whereas the champion for adult category cum overall champion was Mr. Mohd. Rizal Yusof, Personal Assistant to Consul General. Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak, Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi in his brief speech, updated all present with the latest security developments in Karachi. He also recorded his thanks and appreciation to both Mr. Isa and Mrs. Aswana for their excellent and tireless efforts in promoting Malaysia throughout their tenure in Karachi, as well as the MKC members for their excellent works for the benefits of all Malaysians in Karachi. The event is part of Consulate social activities in promoting the spirit of "1Malaysia" in Karachi.
