 A.  To enter Peru:

 

Visa Requirement

 

Visa is not required for Malaysian Passport Holder to enter Peru for tourist purposes for the stay of not exceeding 90 days, visa with reference is required for students and for business purposes.

 

Health Requirement

 

For the time being, Yellow Fever Vaccination is required when a traveller enter Peru and going back to Malaysia. Therefore, it is advisable to get the vaccination before entering Peru,or at the Jorge Chavez International Airport Lima . It is learned that the Yellow Fever Vaccination will only be effective 10 days after injection. The Vaccine will last for 10 years. The traveller is advice to carry along the Yellow Fever Vaccination when he or she travels to this country.

 

B. To enter Bolivia:

 

Visa Requirement

 

Visa is needed for Malaysian Passport Holder to enter Bolivia. Since Bolivia does not have consular office in Kuala Lumpur, visa application could be done through the following alternatives:

 

i.                    the consulate Bolivia adjacent to Malaysia, for instance in Beijing, Manila, Osaka, Seoul,Sydney, Tokyo etc;

ii.                  During the transit, but before entering Bolivia through any Latin America countries where Bolivia establishes its Embassy or Consulate Office

 

Application for the Bolivian visa require the following:

 

i.                    details on the accommodation in Bolivia

ii.                  flight arrival and departure, if applicable

iii.                copy of the valid Credit Card as a financial support background

iv.                copy of the passport

v.                  passport size color photo preferably red background. However, there is no restriction for background of any other colors.

vi.                Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate

 

The visa processing will take one working day approval consideration provided the applicant meets the above requirement.

C. To enter Colombia:

 

Visa Requirement

 

Visa is needed for Malaysian Passport Holder to enter Colombia effectively 28 December 2018. Visa application could be obtained from Consulate of Colombia in Malaysia. 


Regular requirements for all visa applications

 

1.    Copy of the main page (with personal details) of the passport or travel document.

2.    If they apply for visa in Colombia, the applicant shall prove that their migratory status is regular and show the latest exit and entry stamp or safe-conduct pass, where appropriate.

3.    If they apply for visa in a Colombian Consulate abroad, they shall submit a copy of the document that proves their regular stay in the country. 

 

Specific requirements:

 

1.    Letter signed by the applicant or the person who supports the application, including: full identification of the applicant or the person supporting the application (as shown in the passport or ID), explanation of the relationship with the foreigner, the purpose of the trip, the statement of economic responsibility for the personal or the foreigner’s living and transport expenses.

2.    Bank statements of the latest six (6) moths of the applicant or the person who supports the application.

 

General instructions to present a visa application:

1.    Current passport or travel document, in good condition and with room for visas.

2.    Fill in the electronic visa application form.

3.    All documents, apart from identification and travel documents, should have issue date not later than three months before the registration of the application.

4.    All documents issued abroad shall be apostilled/legalized and officially translated if they are not in Spanish. The official translation shall be apostilled/legalized, where appropriate.

5.    If bank statements are necessary, they do not need to be appostilled/legalized or translated if the visa officer can clearly understand its content.  

6.    If the certificate of imprisonment records is needed: if the visa is applied before the Colombian Consulate of the country of origin of the foreigner, the certificate of imprisonment or criminal records in accordance with the procedure established in the country should be sufficient. If the application is made before the Internal Work Group for Visas and Immigration, the applicant may submit the criminal or imprisonment records certified by the Consulate of the country of origin accredited to Colombia, or apostilled/legalized, where appropriate.
