WORKING VISIT BY THE HON. YB DATO’ SERI HISHAMMUDDIN TUN HUSSEIN, MINISTER OF DEFENCE OF MALAYSIA, 10-11 MARCH 2015
YB Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Minister of Defence of Malaysia made a two-day working visit from 10 - 11 March 2015 to the Philippines. The Hon. Minister was accompanied by senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and Malaysian Armed Forces senior staff. The main objectives of this visit were to discuss issues of mutual interest and to extend invitation to the Defence Secretary to attend the ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting (ADMM) and Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) exhibition which will be held from 15 until 21 March 2015.
During the said visit, YB Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin paid a courtesy call on H.E. President Benigno S. Aquino III and had bilateral meeting with the Hon. Voltaire T. Gazmin, Secretary of Defence. The Hon. Minister also made a visit to the International Monitoring Team (IMT), headquarters in Cotabato to meet the Malaysian contingent.
H.E. Ambassador of Malaysia, Dato’ Mohd Zamri Mohd Kassim hosted a dinner in honour of Hon. Minister and delegates at Rumah Malaysia on 10 March 2015.
