On 17 December 2024, Mr Syed Muhammad Firdaus, Charge d'affaires a.i. attended a film screening at the invitation of H.E. Dr. Hussein Gharibi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Poland. The screening was intended to expose the public to the atrocities of the Zionist regime during their occupation of Palestine in 1948, as well as to showcase the like-minded countries' continuous support towards the Palestinian cause.

The screening of the film “The Survivor” was a historical drama directed by an Iranian director and cast by Syrian actors, based on a novel entitled “Returning to Haifa” published by a Palestinian author, about the invasion of Palestine by the Zionist regime in 1948 (Nakba Day).
