On 8 August 2025, the ASEAN Committee in Warsaw (ACW), proudly celebrated ASEAN Day under the theme “Towards an Inclusive and Sustainable ASEAN Future.” This year marks the 58th anniversary of ASEAN’s founding, established with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok.
The event was hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw, as the rotating chair of ACW, and was graced by the attendance of H.E. Mr. Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, as the Guest of Honour.
The celebration in Warsaw underscored ASEAN’s vision of a future where no one is left behind, and growth is both equitable and environmentally responsible, reaffirming the organisation’s role in fostering peace, dialogue, and mutual respect.
