Note       :           Visit to the Embassy for consular matters is by appointment.  Appointment can be made via e-mail doh.info@kln.gov.my. Due to the Covid19 restrictions, visitors without prior appointment will not be allowed entry.

Applicants are required to observe the following requirements:-

  1. Background must be white and without shadows. Colored backgrounds will not be accepted;
  2. Applicants are required to wear dark clothing, collared shirt that covers shoulder and chest;
  3. Applicants who wears scarf or hijab are required to wear dark-colored scarf or hijab which does not cover the face;
  4. Look directly at the camera with an open eyes, mouth closed and both ears visible;
  5. Do not wear a cap/hat and hair should not cover the face;
  6. Tangled earing are not allowed; and   
  7. Do not wear contact lenses and glasses

Payment

 

Mode of Payment : Cash Only

  

Fee:   QR 190.00 for adult (12 years old and above)

     QR  90.00 for below 12 years old

          QR 100.00 Courier charge

 

Validity of the passport: Five (5) years from the date of issue.

 

Process Duration: Standard processing time is 3 months. It may take longer that three months due to pandemic and high number of passport renewal application at Malaysian Immigration Department, Putrajaya.

 

Note : Applicant need to come personally

 

 

NOTE: Processing takes three months from the date of complete submission of document. All photocopies are required to be made in A4 size.

 

 

RENEWAL OF PASSPORT

 

EXTENSION OF PASSPORT VALIDITY

 

Currently, the Malaysian International Passport can no longer be extended. Upon expiry, a new passport application must be made to replace the expired passport.

Malaysian are strongly urged to renew their passport at least six (6) month before expiry date.
