Book Donation to the National Library of Romania
The Embassy of Malaysia in Bucharest, Romania donated books on Malaysia to the National Library of Romania on 26 January 2011. The books were presented by the Ambassador, H.E. Datin Paduka Halimah Abdullah to the Director General of the National Library of Romania, Madam Elena Tirziman.
The books, consisting of various topics, which include politics and economics, culture as well foreign policy of Malaysia. The Embassy’s contribution will add up to the collection of the National Library’s ASEAN Corner, which was recently established at the library. The Embassy will continue to contribute books to the National Library in the future to enable visitors to the library to have variety of reading materials about Malaysia.
The effort by the Embassy has undoubtedly strenghtened further the relations between the Embassy and the National Library of Romania as well as it angurs well for the Embassy’s continuous efforts in promoting Malaysia in the host country, Romania.
