On 7 October 2021, H.E. Tengku Dato' Sirajuzzaman, Ambassador-Designate of Malaysia to Romania paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Bogdan Aurescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania to present the copies of his Letters of Credence
During the meeting, H.E. Mr. Bogdan Aurescu emphasized the opportunity to substantiate the common agenda and boost the political contacts, including at high-level, and to stimulate the economic relations, including the bilateral trade. He also expressed the need to identify new sectoral areas of cooperation of common interest, in order to capitalize on the significant potential of Malaysia-Romania collaborations. H.E. Tengku Dato' Sirajuzzaman expressed his full openness in this regard and conveyed Malaysia's commitment to advancing Malaysia-Romania relations.
