Opening of the “Windows to the Arab World” stand at the International Book Fair in Romexpo, Bucharest
On 24 May 2023, H.E.Tengku Dato' Sirajuzzaman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Romania, attended the opening of the “Windows to the Arab World” stand at the International Book Fair in Romexpo, Bucharest. This event was also attended by the Culture Minister of Romania, Mr. Lucian Romașcanu.
This Arab Stand was organized by the Embassies of Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia and Syria in Bucharest by presenting the rich and variety selection of books, literature, and artworks of the Arab culture in the Bookfest 2023.
The Bookfest 2023 in Bucharest exhibits to the public a wide variety of products belonging to the publishing industry and related fields, which promotes reading and selling of books. The Bookfest 2023 is organized, presented and promoted by the Romanian Publishers Association. It is also the host of debates in which publishing professionals talk about the problems of the book market and the solutions to address the concerned issues.
