Apart from the business meeting at the Chambers, the Embassy also organised a high-tea for the PCCCI members with the presence of local tour operators and Ministry of Tourism of Romania on 27 October 2009. The event provided an opportunity for PCCCI to promote Tourism Industry in Perak to the local tour operators. PCCCI also learned from Romania’s experience on tourism promotional activities through the briefing given by the representative of the Ministry of Tourism. Despite the economic crisis in the country, the response from Romanian counterparts was positive and encouraging.
