MADINAH, May 27, 2015 -  Malaysian Consul General in Jeddah, Dato’ Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak, was the chief guest of the 2015 batch Students Graduation organized by the PERSADA Madinah. In this traditional ceremony awards and certificates were presented to 14 graduates of the Islamic University in Madinah (IUM).


Since IUM’s inception 50 years ago, Malaysia has produced nearly 800 graduates in various fields such as the Shari’ah, the Holy Qur’an (textual studies of the Holy Book); Da’wah and Usul Al-Din (propagation and theology), Hadith (Islamic traditions) and the Arabic language from IUM.


The Consul General in his brief remarks expressed his thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammad  bin Nayef and Madinah Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman and the management of IUM for their strong support and assistance to the Malaysian students studying in the Islamic University of Madinah Al-Munawarah.
