 COURTESY CALL ON THE 2nd DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA, HRH PRINCE MUQRIN BIN ABDUL-AZIZ BY THE AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA, H.E. PROF. DATUK SYED OMAR AL SAGGAF

On 17thMarch 2013, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arab, H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar Al Saggaf paid a courtesy call on HRH Prince Muqrin bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud who was recently appointed as the Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  On behalf of the Government of Malaysia, H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar congratulated the Prince on his new appointment as the Second Deputy Prime Minister - while still being trusted toretain his current role as the Advisor and Special Envoy to the King and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Both sides discussed on overall issues pertaining to Malaysia-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations, while reaffirming the importance of existing cordial relations. HRH Prince Muqrin expressed his appreciation towards YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, the Prime Minister of Malaysia and H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar for their tireless effort in strengthening Saudi-Malaysia bilateral relations. H.E. Prof. Datuk Syed Omar in return expressed his utmost gratitude for the Prince’s kind assistance and support in the past and hoped that it will continue in the years to come.
