Passport Renewal
The passport application procedure at the Embassy of Malaysia Belgrade
Malaysians in the Republic of Serbia may renew their passports through the Embassy. All applicants must submit and collect document personally.
Applicants are advised to submit their applicants well ahead of time (e.g. 3 months before the passport expires or when the passport has 3 pages left) since the renewal also take a quite some times to be processed. Requirements for passport renewal are as follows:
- An application form (obtainable from the Embassy)
- 2 recent coloured photos:
- Current passport
- Identity card
If the applicant is not in possession of MyKad, a Temporary Identification Certificate (JPN.KPPK 09 or 11) AND Birth certificate is required.
- Passport fee of RM 200.00 (payable in equivalent amount in local currency) for 5-year passport validity period Children under 12 years of age, students under 21 years of age with proof to study abroad on the day of submission and pilgrims are entitled to special passport renewal fee of RM 100.00 for 5-year passport validity period
Exemption of payment is given to the handicapped or disabled person on condition that he/she produces a letter from the Welfare Department.
