2nd ASEAN Trade and Food Fair
On 27 September 2025, the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm successfully organised its 2nd ASEAN Trade and Food Fair at the compound of the Embassy of Malaysia and the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm. The event was graced by Mr. Adam Reuterskiöld, Member of Parliament and Chair of the Indonesia–Sweden Parliamentary Friendship Group, and welcomed approximately 1,000 attendees, including members of the diplomatic corps, ASEAN nationals in Sweden, and the local community.
The fair showcased the rich cultural diversity of ASEAN through vibrant performances such as the Malaysian Sumazau Dance, Indonesia’s Traditional Medley, Thailand’s Northeastern Serng Dance, Vietnam’s Hat Dance and more. The Embassy of Malaysia also highlighted the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign while treating guests to authentic Malaysian flavours, including fried kway teow, nasi lemak, and roti jala.
