OVERSEAS POSTAL VOTING (PENGUNDI POS LUAR NEGARA)
The Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm wishes to advise all Malaysians and Malaysian students residing in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Norway to continue to check on confirmation of their status as Overseas Postal Voter (Pengundi Pos Luar Negara) and Absent Voter (Pengundi Tidak Hadir), respectively at the Malaysia’s Election Commission (Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya – SPR) websites at: www.spr.gov.my and www.pru13.gov.my.
According to the announcement made by SPR, all applications for Overseas Postal Voter and Absent Voter by Malaysians have been closed effective 3 April 2013 at 11.59 pm.
For Malaysians and Malaysian students who are confirmed having the status as Overseas Voter and Absent Voter, they are also advised to regularly access the SPR websites and the Embassy’s website at: http:www.kln.gov.my/web/swe_stockholm/home for information on date, time and venue for collection of Sampul Keutamaan, which contained a voting paper at the Embassy of Malaysia, Stockholm.
