ASEAN Badminton Tournament 2013, 10 November 2013
The Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm, Sweden participated in the ASEAN Badminton Tournament 2013 on Sunday, 10 November 2013 from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm at the Frescatti Hall, Stockholm. The Tournament orgainsed by the Embassy of Indonesia in Stockholm was part of the ASEAN Embassies' sport activities aimed at fostering friendship and solidarity among the ASEAN embassies and their communities.
Players representing Embassies of Malaysia, Indonesia, Lao, Thailand and Vietnam competed in the five categories of singles for men and women, doubles for men and women and mix double. The Embassy of Malaysia's badminton team comprised of Embassy's Home-Based Staff and family members as well as, Malaysian community including Malaysian students. The prize giving ceremony was held at the end of the tournament with prizes presented by ASEAN Ambassadors to the winners. Congratulations to all winners!
The ASEAN Badminton Tournament has further strengthened relations and instilled the spirit of friendship, solidarity and cooperation among ASEAN embassies and communities in Stockholm.
