ASEAN FAMILY DAY 2013, STOCKHOLM, 29 JUNE 2013
ASEAN embassies in Stockholm, Sweden jointly organized the ASEAN Family Day 2013 at the Embassy of Vietnam, Stockholm on 29 June 2013, Saturday. The grouping of ASEAN embassies in Stockholm comprise of embassies of Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. Mdm Gloria Tiwet, Chargé d´affaires a.i, joined the ASEAN Heads of Missions in welcoming all guests and the ASEAN communities to the one-day event.
The day was filled with fun activities of games ´sukaneka´ and ping pong competition. Food and drinks were brought by each embassy in the spirit of sharing and togetherness. The Malaysian embassy´s officers and staff together with Malaysian community in Stockholm participated actively in the activities and the organization of the family day. The ASEAN Family Day has further instilled the spirit of friendship, solidarity and cooperation among ASEAN embassies and communities in Stockholm.
