Courtesy call by His Excellency Normans Penke, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Sweden
On 6 November 2025, Ambassador Sarimah Akbar received a courtesy call from His Excellency Normans Penke, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Sweden, at the Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm.
Since Ambassador Penke also serves as the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to Malaysia, discussions primarily focused on mutual support that could be extended by both sides to further enhance bilateral cooperation. Besides, both Ambassadors also exchanged views on current international developments, including the geopolitical situation in the Baltic region and its broader implications for regional and global security.
