On 28 November 2025, Ambassador Sarimah Akbar received a courtesy call from Ms. Jannicke Graatrud, Director of the Section for East Asia and Oceania, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, at the Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm.
During the discussion, Ambassador Sarimah shared key results from Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship, particularly on conflict resolution efforts in Southeast Asia. Both sides also exchanged views on potential bilateral milestones and areas of future cooperation, affirming their shared aspiration to further elevate Malaysia–Norway relations through sustained and forward-looking collaboration.
