His Excellency Dato´ Badruddin Ab. Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden and concurrently accredited to Denmark, Iceland and Norway, presented his Credentials to His Excellency Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, President of Iceland at the Official Residence of the President of Iceland, Bessastaðir on Tuesday, 13 November 2012. 

 

Dato´ Badruddin Ab. Rahman joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia in 1983. His Excellency has held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia and Malaysia’s Embassies in Japan, Cambodia, the Philippines and Algeria. His Excellency was Malaysia´s Ambassador to Algeria from 2005 to 2008 and served as Senior Under Secretary, Directorate of Europe, Americas and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to his appointment as Malaysia's Ambassador to Sweden.

 

Dato´ Badruddin Ab. Rahman succeeds His Excellency Dato' Kamarudin Mustafa as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden since 3 September 2011 and concurrently accredited to Denmark, Iceland and Norway.
