HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI OPEN HOUSE , 24 AUGUST 2013
H.E. Dato ’ Badruddin Ab. Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden and his wife, Datin Noormah Mahmud, hosted Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Open House on 24 August 2013. The Open House was held at the chancery building of the Embassy and attended by 200 more Malaysians in Sweden.
The fine weather has made the festive mood even merrier as the guests mingled around. The event lasted for about three hours from 1.00 t0 4.00 pm.
In his speech, Dato’ Badruddin, among others, informed the audience of the current development taking place in Malaysia as well as the latest Government’s initiatives/policies, especially the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
During the event, traditional Malaysian delicacies such as nasi briyani, kari kambing, nasi himpit, rendang daging, lodeh , cendul , kuih bingka and kek lapis were served.
