Malaysian Fruit Promotion at ICA Maxi in Haninge, Stockholm 24 – 25 November 2016
The Malaysian Agriculture office (based in Rotterdam) organised a two day Malaysian Fruit Promotion at ICA Maxi in Haninge, Stockholm. The Malaysian exotic fruits i.e. mango (manga), jackfruit (nangka), starfruit (belimbing), dragon fruit (buah naga) and pineapple (nenas) received very good response from the public and all the fruits were sold out.
Apart from the fruit display, there were also cooking demonstration using the fruits i.e. making crème brulle with dragon fruit, sticky rice with mango and fresh fruit spicy salad (rojak buah).
ICA is planning to bring in the fruits on a regular basis as they also had a similar success with the program in Malmo earlier in this year.
