ACS Meeting with Representatives of the International Council of Swedish Industry (NIR)
On 10 March 2026, the Ambassadors of the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS) attended a meeting with representatives of the International Council of Swedish Industry (NIR) at the World Trade Centre in Stockholm.
During the meeting, the ACS Ambassadors were briefed on the mandate and ongoing initiatives of NIR, including the Swedish Workplace Programme, the Sustainability Impact Accelerator, and the Responsibility in Mining initiative. In addition, the discussion focused on NIR’s current and prospective projects in Southeast Asia, particularly in areas related to responsible business practices, sustainable industrial development, and workforce capacity building.
