Reception on the Occasion of the 56th Anniversary of Independence of Malaysia
H.E Dato´ Badruddin Ab. Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden and Datin Noor Mah Mahmud hosted a reception on the occasion of the 56th Anniversary of Independence of Malaysia at the Embassy of Malaysia, Stockholm on Thursday, 10 October 2013.
The reception was well attended by representatives of Swedish Government’s officials, private sectors, civil societies, the media, academicians and members of the diplomatic corps.
Guests were treated to a variety of Malaysia´s cuisine and desserts such as nasi minyak, mutton curry, ayam masak merah, rendang daging, satay, pickled salad, fried noodles, kek lapis and kek gula hangus as well as several types of fruits. Brochures on Malaysia´s touristic places were also distributed to the guests.
