1ST JOINT SEMINAR BETWEEN MALAYSIA AND THAILAND UNDER MALAYSIA-THAILAND THINK TANK AND SCHOLAR NETWORK (MTTT/TMTT), BANGKOK, 13-14 SEPTEMBER 2012
YABhg. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, former Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chairman of the Institute of Islamic Understanding of Malaysia (IKIM) was invited to deliver a keynote speech entitled “From Fair to Flourishing: The Thailand-Malaysia Relationship in the 21st Century and Beyond’ at the First Joint Seminar by MTTT on Socio-Economic Cooperation in the Border Areas between Thailand and Malaysia on 13 September 2012.
The Seminar was organized with the hope to develop collaborative research projects as well as to create greater networking among the concerned agencies from both countries. The Seminar was attended by scholar and academic/research institutions from both countries as well as representative from some ASEAN Embassies in Bangkok.
YABhg. Tun Abdullah also had a few interviews by the local media during this working visit.
