2nd ROUND THE WORLD CYCLING EXPEDITION BY MALAYSIAN DUO, 27 JULY 2011
Exactly a year ago, the Embassy of Malaysia in Bangkok played host to two Malaysian cyclists by the name of Mohd. Aswad Zainal and Abdul Khalib Zakaria who were on their mission to cycle around the world. They made a stop at the Embassy of Malaysia in Bangkok on 27 July 2010 before continuing their journey to other parts of the world which actually took them to various countries like Thailand, Laos, China, Iran, Turkey, USA, the UK, to name a few.
As a sign of support to this initiative which was premised on Malaysia Boleh spirit, Dato’ Nazirah Hussain, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Thailand had flagged-off their final leg of the mission where in about a week time, they shall be able to reach home safely, hence, completing their mission. The cheerful mood that morning, hopefully, would serve as a motivation for them.
