The Sports and Welfare Club of the Embassy of Malaysia had once again successfully organised another round of Family Day event recently. The Club organised a 2-day 1-night trip to Phufapasak Resort in Saraburi, about two hours away from Bangkok. Nearly 70 staff (HBS and LRS) of the Embassy participated in the event.

 

2.         Among the activities carried out were visits to two grape gardens, animals farm and the biggest dam in the province, all within the vicinity of the resort. Other than educational visits to those places, there were also fun activities chosen for adults and kids alike like white water rafting, ATV rides, tele-matches as well as family dinner. During the dinner, a number of activities such as karaoke competition and fancy dress competition for the children were organised to add fun to the programme.

 

3.         Despite the hot weather and the tiring activities, it appears that everyone was very happy with the outcome of the programme. Most importantly, the organisation of such programme bode well with the aspiration of the Embassy to create a balance lifestyle between work and social activities. After all, it also helped to strengthen the camaraderie among the staff of the Embassy. The strong support from PERWAKILAN had also contributed to the success of the programme.
