SAWADIKAP YOUR EXCELLENCY!!, 30 MAY 2011
H.E. Amb. Dato’ Nazirah Hussain, the new Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand arrived in Bangkok on 28 May 2011 and immediately reported for duty. The official welcoming by the Embassy’s staff was done on the following Monday.
2. Upon Dato’ Nazirah’s arrival in the morning of 30 May 2011, all staff had lined up at the entrance of the Embassy to warmly welcome her. Everyone was delighted to see the arrival of a new Ambassador after the post had been left vacant for nearly eight months. The assumption of the post by Dato’ Nazirah was indeed timely given the fact that Thailand would play host to many important bilateral meetings in the months to come. In line with the past traditions, a brief introductory meeting was held with all staff followed by simple refreshments.
3. To Dato’ Nazirah, we warmly greet you with Sawadikap and we pledge our commitments towards upholding and maintaining the good image of the Embassy.
