VISIT BY REPRESENTATIVES FROM MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (MDeC), 19 & 20 SEPTEMBER 2011

Four representatives from the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) visited the Embassy on 19 September 2011 to give a short briefing on the implementation of e-Xpats system which was developed by MDeC to facilitate the visa application process for foreign knowledge workers who are interested to work in Malaysia within the parameter of Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). Essentially, the system would enable the visa application process to be expedited and it is hoped that it could serve as an impetus in attracting more skilled foreign workers to work in the MSC.
