VISIT MALAYSIA 2026 MISSION LED BY YB MINISTER OF TOURISM MALAYSIA

Honourable Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing undertook a Sales Mission to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Bangkok from 22 June 2025 to 3 July 2025 to strengthen Malaysia–Thailand tourism ties ahead of Visit Malaysia 2026.
During his visit to Thailand, YB Minister had the chance to meet with his counterpart His Excellency Sorawong Theienthong, Minister of Tourism and Sports Thailand. The mission saw fruitful engagements between Malaysian and Thai industry players to boost cross-border travel, enhance connectivity, and promote twin-destination packages. With over 833,000 Thai arrivals recorded in early 2025, Thailand remains a key market for high-value, long-stay travellers.
