Dili, 19 & 27 January 2026 — H.E. Dato’ Amarjit Sarjit Singh, Ambassador of Malaysia, recently delivered remarks at two JICA-organised workshops focused on: ASEAN International Trade & Investment, and International Migration & Human Rights.

Implemented by Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS), UKM, in cooperation with JICA Timor-Leste, these programmes were designed to equip government officials with the tools needed for seamless ASEAN integration.

Following Timor-Leste’s accession during Malaysia’s ASEAN 2025 Chairmanship, Malaysia remains a steadfast partner in supporting the nation’s regional growth.
