LATEST REQUIREMENT CONCERNING QUARANTINE PERIOD IN MALAYSIA
Effective from 18 October 2021, the quarantine period for travellers who wish to enter Malaysia has been reduced from 14 days to 7 days for fully vaccinated travellers and 10 days for travellers who have received the first dose of vaccine. A traveller is regarded as fully vaccinated after a 14-day lapse from the date of the second dose prior to their departure to Malaysia.
Fully vaccinated travellers may apply for home quarantine via https://hso.moh.gov.my/outbreak-portal-hqa/index. The application must be made at least 7 days before the arrival date in Malaysia.
The requirement to provide a negative PCR test 72 hours before departure and to download the MySejahtera mobile application still remains.
