The Consulate General of Malaysia in Los Angeles invites application for an employment at the Consulate as follows:
Post Title : Clerk

Basic Functions of the Position:
Position reports to Vice Consul/Consul General and serves as the Clerk for Consulate General. The position provides a wide range of Clerk duties, including but not limited to assist in responding to public telephone, electronic, written inquires and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other Clerk duties and errands.
Job Knowledge: Candidate must be hard working, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure.
Skills and Abilities: Must be an exceptionally discrete, a person who is able to maintain absolute confidentiality with regard to records and information. Proficient in computer skills especially Microsoft Office and Outlook programs. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to multi-task, responsible and able work with minimum supervision. Excellent in organizing, administrative and time management skills should be in possession of necessary qualifications and knowledge in handling the office day-to-day related task.
Education Requirements: Minimum Diploma (preferably in administration and accounting).
Experience: At least one years of experience in office management.
Language: English and other languages are a plus.
Age: 25 years old and above.
