The Consulate General of Malaysia in Los Angeles invites application for an employment at the Consulate as follows:
Post Title : Office Assistant
Terms of Employment : Contract for service
Eligibility : United States Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident
Basic Functions of the Position:
Position reports to Vice Consul/Consul General and serves as the general office assistant for Consulate General. The position provides a wide range of general office assistant duties, including but not limited to handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office duties and errands.
Job Knowledge: Candidate must be hard working, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure.
Skills and Abilities: Must be an exceptionally discrete, a person who is able to maintain absolute confidentiality with regard to records and information. Proficient in computer skills especially Microsoft Office and Outlook programs. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. Candidate should be in possession of necessary qualifications and knowledge in handling the office day-to-day related task.
Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma
Experience: At least two years of experience in office management.
Language: English. Malay language is a plus
Age: 25 years old and above.
