H.E. Dato’ Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations hosted a reception at the Permanent Mission on 8 June 2017 to introduce Dr. Mazlan Madon, Malaysia’s candidate to the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLCS).
Dr. Mazlan was seeking re-election to the CLCS for a second term from 2017-2022.
Following elections of States Parties of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea that was on 14 June 2017, Dr. Mazlan Madon was re-elected to the CLCS for a second term (2017-2022).
