MEETING WITH AMBASSADOR KARAN BHATIA, HEAD OF GLOBAL POLICY AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS AT GOOGLE LLC
On 17 September 2025, H.E. Ambassador Tan Sri Shahrul Ikram met with Ambassador Karan Bhatia, Head of Global Policy and Government Relations at Google LLC.
During the meeting, Ambassador Shahrul was briefed on Google’s investment in Malaysia as the base for its regional digital operations; in the context of the broader ASEAN growth opportunities. In closing, Ambassador Shahrul underscored Malaysia’s commitment to advancing digital cooperation and strengthening partnerships with Google, as well as other leading global technology companies in the U.S.
