AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS AT WHITE HOUSE
His Excellency Datuk Othman Hashim, Ambassador of Malaysia to the United States of America, presented his credentials to His Excellency Barack H. Obama, President of the United States of America, on Wednesday, 2 May 2012.
Prior to his assignment as Malaysia's Ambassador to the U.S., Datuk Othman Hashim was the Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations in Geneva. He has also served as Malaysia's Ambassador to the Czech Republic as well as Deputy Secretary General for Bilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Datuk Othman Hashim succeeds His Excellency Dato' Sri Dr. Jamaludin Jarjis as the new Ambassador of Malaysia to the United States of America.
