On 3 February 2026, Ambassador Tan Sri Muhammad Shahrul Ikram hosted a Welcoming Dinner for YB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, and delegation consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) at the Residence.
Delegation had the opportunity to exchange views and discuss the focus of Malaysia’s participation at the 2026 Critical Minerals Ministerial Meeting scheduled on 4 February 2026.
